Sue Daugherty is the Executive Director of Serving our Seniors. 

In 2003 as Executive Director of Serving Our Seniors, Sue sponsored a Public Forum on Energy cost to determine what we could do to reduce the cost of utilities. The panelist includes national & state elected officials, representative form the PUCO, Ohio Consumers Counsel, Chief lobbyist for the Oil & Gas Producers, power company executives and an utility pricing authority.  They concluded that there was nothing we could do about the cost of delivery utilities to our homes and businesses.  Frustrated by this answer Sue and I made the decision to build “The House on Third Street.”

Is a not for profit geriatric social service agency that works to assist those 60 and older to live independently in their own homes. In addition to the programs listed below, Serving Our Seniors sponsors aging well events and lobbies for responsible legislation affecting older adults.
